Welcome to the Year of the Environment 2009

Welcome to Liverpool’s Year of Environment 2009 website. Throughout the Year of the Environment we’re aiming to take Liverpool a step closer to becoming truly green and sustainable.

The theme of Year of the Environment is Our city. Our planet. The things we do right here in our city of Liverpool can have a big impact on our planet. That’s why we want to tackle climate change and reduce our carbon footprint. We’ll also celebrate some of the great green initiatives already in action in Our City.

On this website we’ll tell you about all the great ways you can get involved in Year of the Environment. It’s Our city. Our planet. – get involved and you will make a difference!
